This Privacy Policy describes how Domagoj Blazonija ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Klada mobile application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

Name — used to identify you to friends within the app
Email address — used for account creation and authentication
Avatar — an emoji you choose to represent yourself
Bet content — text, images, or audio recordings you submit as part of a bet
Friend connections — the friends you add within the app

Information collected automatically

Push notification token — to send you notifications about bets and friend requests
Usage data — basic app interactions, stored as part of normal infrastructure logging

Information we do NOT collect

Phone number
Location data
Payment information (the app involves no real money)
Contacts from your device's address book

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Create and manage your account
Enable you to create, join, and manage bets with friends
Send push notifications about bet invites, responses, and outcomes
Display leaderboards and profiles among friends
Improve and maintain the App

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Third Parties

Supabase

We use Supabase for database storage, user authentication, and file storage (images and audio). Supabase is hosted on AWS infrastructure. See supabase.com/privacy.

Expo Push Notifications

We use Expo's push notification infrastructure to deliver notifications to your device. Push tokens are stored in our database and shared with Expo solely for notification delivery. See expo.dev/privacy.

Sentry

We use Sentry for crash reporting and error monitoring in production builds. Sentry may collect device information and stack traces when the app crashes. See sentry.io/privacy.

5. Age Requirement

Klada is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us at privacy@domagoj.fyi and we will delete the account promptly.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data
Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
Objection — object to certain types of processing

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@domagoj.fyi. We will respond within 30 days.

Account Deletion

To delete your account and all associated data, email privacy@domagoj.fyi with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and row-level security policies on our database. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
